Communication Matters Will Be a Gold Level spon­sor for the Hillsborough Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Golf Tournament

Hillsborough, NC – September 28, 2010: Communication Matters, the Hillsborough, North Carolina-​​based strate­gic mar­ket­ing com­pany, will be a Gold Level spon­sor in the upcom­ing 16th Annual Chamber Golf Classic on October 15, 2010. The tour­na­ment is pre­sented by the Hillsborough/​Orange County Chamber of Commerce, and will be played at the Occoneechee Golf Club in Hillsborough. Proceeds from the tour­na­ment will fund schol­ar­ships for grad­u­at­ing high school seniors, as well as other efforts imple­mented by the Chamber’s Education Committee. The Chamber awarded two schol­ar­ships worth $1,250 in 2010 to two local high school seniors, both of whom will attend UNC-​​G in the fall. Libbie Hough, founder and owner of Communication Matters, states she became a Gold Sponsor of the tour­na­ment this year because she wants to sup­port the schools in their drive for excel­lence. The dona­tion is also in keep­ing with Hough’s com­mit­ment to com­mu­nity ser­vice. She is cur­rently serv­ing a sec­ond term as a mem­ber of the board of direc­tors of two local non-​​profits — the Mental Health Association in Orange County and the Hillsborough/​Orange County Chamber of Commerce.
