Hillsborough, NC – August 9, 2010: Libbie Hough, owner of the Hillsborough, North Carolina-​​based strate­gic mar­ket­ing com­pany Communication Matters, has been help­ing get the word out about Festifall, Orange County’s pre­mier arts and enter­tain­ment fes­ti­val. Hough was asked to join the pub­lic­ity com­mit­tee in a vol­un­teer capac­ity ear­lier this sum­mer and to secure expo­sure for the event in local publications.

Sue Konigshoeffer, owner of SCK Design in Chapel Hill, con­tacted Hough about putting in some time with Festifall. “Sue’s vol­un­teered with Festifall pub­lic­ity efforts for some time,” says Hough. “It’s fun to work with Sue and the rest of the com­mit­tee. And giv­ing time to com­mu­nity orga­ni­za­tions is one way my busi­ness remains focused on the triple bot­tom line: peo­ple, planet, and performance.”
